CUPCAKE OF THE WEEK (March 4 - 12)

It's that time again ... I updated the facebook page and Twitter feed and haven't had a chance to update the blog.  Yipes!

SO ... this week's cupcake of the week is in celebration of the Girl Scouts' 99th Birthday on March 12th. I have met some amazing people I have met though Girl Scouts both as a youth member and as an adult volunteer. So it's appropro that I feature something that reminds me of campfires, friendship and treats around the campfire ...

You know what's even better? 10% of this week's CUPCAKE OF THE WEEK sales will be donated to benefit the camps of the Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida, Inc.! Also, any cakes ordered this week that mention GIRL SCOUTS will receive a 10% Girl Scout discount and have a 10% donation made to GSCTF also. Goodies for a good cause!

The Red Velvet is a tribute to the red carpet and all it's fanfare while the Salted Carmel Spice Cupcakes are reminder of salty movie snacks like popcorn and also caramel & chocolate candies everyone loves to nosh on when we to the movies. mmmmm ... we've had lots of requests for cupcakes lately and they consistently prove to be a great choice for both intimate and large parties alike. This got me to thinking about all the amazing flavor combinations of cupcakes I have been working on. I wanted to find a way to fulfill your sweet tooth craving between special occassions with decadent and innovative flavors.

Ta-da!!!!! That's right. Cupcakes are an amazing way to savor rich flavors at anytime and for any occassion. Even just BECAUSE. Yup. For no other reason than because they're deeeeelicious!

Now, this is not your standard cupcakes I'm talkin' about. As much as our customers love our Butter Vanilla, Simply Chocolate, and Marble cakes (cupcakes) with buttercream frosting, we wanted to introduce some amazing and lively new flavor combinations to you. So, voila! Cupcake of the Week was born.

Our new promotion will feature a special cupcake available at a special price for ONE WEEK ONLY. Every Friday a new cupcake will be featured and another opportunity to try something new and delish will come your way.
